Joseph Henzi was a Salt Lake City sign and display, scenery and advertising artist (oil painter, etc.) who possibly studied with Dan Weggeland. Whatever his training, his painting remained rather archaic while working within the known Utah context. Related to this is a large and quite interesting oil painting today in the Springville Museum of Art's Collection that is dated 1911. Nothing at all is known about Joseph Henzi after 1912
