This fine Murray, Utah, painter of landscape scenes was born in Farnborough, Kent, England. Having earned degrees at the University of Utah (B.A., history, 1970; MA Architecture, 1972), Ramsay then functioned as a professional architect until 1979, when he decided to become a full-time artist. Today he is the creator of handsome, quite detailed views of both the English and American countrysides and coasts. His works that were once consistently seen at Basil's in Salt Lake's Trolley Square and elsewhere.
