Hagen Haltern is a German artist. His work often combines abstract and realist forms. His drawings in particular combine many different aspects reflecting the way he saw the world. He studied in Koln and Dusseldorf, Germany, as well as Paris, France. Haltern taught drawing and etching at Brigham Young University as a professor of art. He wrote a book, and his works have been features in the Harris Fine Arts Center on Brigham Young University campus and the Springville Museum.
