Jeff Wolf

(Goshen, Utah, 1957 - )

Jeff Lynn Wolf, born August 8, 1957, is of Payson, Goshen, and Cedar City, Utah. He is a fine bronze sculptor of realistic portrayals of wildlife and western Americana-- mostly cowboys, Indians, and horses. He grew up on a ranch in central Utah and gained a lot of inspiration from the wildlife he was surrounded with as he grew up. He says himself that “My gift chose me, I didn’t choose it.” As a young adult he was interested in rodeos and bull riding, but that he still at the time had to be creating something even if it was not his primary focus. He eventually retired from bull riding and rodeo and became more intent in his desire to create art and sculpt. In 1990 an art gallery owner’s wife learned about Wolf and his craft and since then he has been able to live off of his art career.
