(Cincinnati, Ohio, 1872 - 1947, Forest Glen, Maryland)

Theodore John Morgan was active on the East Coast, working and living in the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, Maryland and more. He is known for his landscapes, wild flowers and marine paintings. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, he attended the Art Academy as a student of Frank Duveneck, John C. Lutz, Thomas Noble and Lewis Makin. He went to work in Texas, working in San Antonio and Dallas, until 1929 when he moved to Washington D.C. He was a member of the Washington Society of Artists and the National Arts Club, as well as the New York Water Color Club and more.
