Mikhail Alekseevich Kostin
(1918 - 1972)
Kostin worked in a Soviet Realist vien under Zhadanov's views that Soviet art should be interested only in the people and the state. In "In the Stalin Factory," Kostin blends solid draftsmanship with what may be called hearty 'two-fisted' impressionism.
