Susan Swartz is an American landscape painter, originally trained in watercolors and oils, but she now specializes with acrylics on linen canvasses. Swartz paints abstract landscapes and natural scenes that entice the viewers into a place of majesty and refuge. Swartz paints from studios in Park City, Utah and Martha’s Vineyard, MA. Swartz has had her excellence was recognized with a solo exhibition at the National Museum for Women in the Arts is Washington, D.C. She also has works in permanent collections in the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Salt Lake City; the International Olympic Museum in Switzerland; the George Eccles 2002 Olympic Winter Games Museum in Park City, Utah; and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington D.C. Swartz serves on the Dean’s Council of the Harvard Divinity School and the boards of the Utah Film Center and Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. In addition to these many awards and recognitions, Swartz is the co-founder of a charity in Park City called The Christian Center of Park City.
