Adam Reeder was born and raised in the Los Angeles area in California. He briefly studied medicine, where he learned osteology and myology, which would come into use later in his artistic career. His art endeavors truly began in 1999, when he started working professionally with portraits, and then moved on to bronze sculpture in 2000. He graduated from Utah Valley State College in Utah with a degree in Fine Art. He moved back to California in 2006 and completed a Master's Degree at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He is currently married, has four children, and lives with his family in San Ramon, California.
