Bruce Christian Proctor is a photographer, greatly interested in exploring and photographing the desert southwest. He takes several trips a year to study remote eras, exhilarated by the adventures that present themselves. He switched from a traditional darkroom to a digital one, still producing fine art color prints of his work.
Since 1995 he has suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which changed his career as a photographer as well as a teacher. Proctor has had many roles in his life, including rock musician, machinist, Zen Practitioner, English teacher and artist. He currently lives in Maine working on his photography and publishing a book of his coastal photographs.
