Marion Haws was born April 24, 1947 in Vernal, Utah. He was an academic realist sculptor interested in western and religious subjects in bronze. His work was handled by The Stable Gallery in Salt Lake City years ago, among others. He studied at Brigham Young University where William "Bill" Whitaker was a dominant influence upon his development. Marion died in his home in Newton, Utah on February 19, 2008.
