Vladimir Aleksandrovich Fedorov was born on February, 7, 1920 in Elisavetgrad (now Kirovograd). Since childhood he had been engaged in drawing and music. In 1940 he graduated from Odessa State Art College after Grekov. He is a participant of the Great Patriotic war. Since 1947 he has been a reserve officer. After returning to Kirovograd he worked in Kirovograd Society of Artists. For a long time he had been the Chief Painter of the Art Fund. Also for some time he had been working in Kirovograd Drama Theater as a decorator. He is an active participant of many Regional, Republican, Union and International Art Exhibitions. Since 1978 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
