Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov

Gorelov was a Russian painter who studied at the Penza Art College from 1898-1903. He flowed by studying further at the Imperial Academy of Arts until 1911 where he was taught by one of the most famous Russian realists, Ilya Repin. He was given a scholarship by the academy which enabled him to study in Germany, Italy, and France from 1911-1912.
