Margaret W. Morrison

(Salt Lake City, UT, 1960 - )

Margaret Morrison is an artist and professor living in Athens, Georgia. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1960 as the youngest of six daughters. She grew up living in the Philippines and traveled through much of Europe and Asia as a child. She married Richard Morrison in 1980, together raising four children. She graduated in 1986 with a MFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Utah. Morrison is an assistant professor of drawing and painting at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, the University of Georgia. She has been represented by the Woodward Gallery in New York City since 1995. Her paintings are in numerous museums and private collections as well as university exhibitions nationwide.
