Roland Lee was born in southern California. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Art in 1971. Roland L. Lee of Dammeron Valley, Washington County, Utah, is an important realist western landscape and rustic genre specialist in the transparent-watercolor medium. Lee is known internationally for his wonderful watercolors of Southern Utah's "red rock" country and other scenes from across the United States and even Europe.
