Frederick Montague Charman

Charmond was born in Richmond, on the outskirts of London. After having established himself as a reputable painter, he took up teaching at the Faculty of Design at Syracuse University in 1923. Charman was a member of the American Watercolor Society. He worked in many areas of the United States, including in the Rockies. Charman painted landscapes from Rocky Mountains to New York.
