Bruce D. Robertson of Riverton, Utah, is an abstract expressionist mixed-media artist who uses oils as well as transparent watercolors in creating assemblage-installation pieces expressive of visionary themes. He received a BFA and an MFA, both in drawing and printmaking, from Brigham Young University. He also studied mixed-media, printmaking and painting at California State University, Long Beach. He has taught at the university level for over twenty-two years at the University of Utah, Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. Bruce has a strong belief that art is beneficial to everyone and that it can change the way we see and relate to life experiences.
