Kathleen Bateman Peterson

(1951 - )

Kathleen Bateman, a Provo native who now lives in Ephraim, Utah, is an impressionistic realist watercolorist, pastellist, and fiber artist. A Brigham Young University graduate (B.A., 1973), she studied batik in Hawaii and watercolor with Osral Allred of Snow College in Ephraim. She now pursues visionary-spiritualist, landscape, portrait, figure, and animal themes through her art. She recently illustrated a children's book on world religions.
