Harris T. Weberg
(1898 - 1979)
Harris T. Weberg, son of Fritzhof E. Weberg (q.v.) was born in 1898, painted landscapes in oil and watercolor, and was also commissioned to paint in some of the LDS temples such as the Idaho Falls temple. Some of his works remain in the collection of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers (DUP) in Salt Lake City and the Springville Museum of Art. He wrote several letters to fellow artist and friend Janice Lovoos, in which he wrote about the difficulties he faced. tHe struggled with the life of an artist, struggling to make ends meet, and would do book illustration and advertising to make money. He spent most of his life in Utah, and was buried in Ogden after his death in 1979.
