Bert Fullmer

(Springville, UT, 1911 – 2002, Springville, UT)

Bert L. Fullmer grew up in Utah and Southern Idaho where his father had many businesses. He attended high school in Spanish Fork, and recieved his B.S. degree from BYU in Landscape Architecture. Bert taught at BYU for a short time before moving to California and starting his own landscaping business. This was interruped by World War II, where Bert served in the Navy. Following the war, Bert was the city planner for Los Angeles, California. Bert and his wife, Ida, moved back to Springville, in 1973. Bert designed some of the lanscaping for the Springville Museum of Art, specifically the brick work from the street (400 East) to the North Entrance. He also designed the planters on Center Street in Springville for many years.
