Nadine B. Barton

(Provo, Utah, 1921 - 1989)

Nadine B. Barton, a serigrapher, was born in Provo but lived throughout the Southwest and in South America as well. She studied art at the University of New Mexico, the University of Utah, and Brigham Young University. Her strong figurative serigraphs were exhibited in London, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Dallas, Omaha, Palm Springs, Salt Lake City, and in Scottsdale and Jackson Hole at Trailside Galleries. She was also a participant in the Springville April Salons (serigraphs). Barton worked in the pastel medium as well. She is the mother of the fellow artist Beverly Glazier (q.v.).
