Glen Lyman Edwards of Smithfield, Utah, like his artist wife, Barbara Edwards (q.v.), was also remarkably gifted. This highly effective and very talented painter, illustrator, and teacher was a member of the Utah State University faculty starting in 1969. He earned B.F.A. (1968) and M.F.A. (1976) degrees from USU, and was one of Utah's busiest and most professional artists for commercial production. Also a regularly seen contributor to local art exhibitions (particularly the Springville Museum of Art National April Salons), the distinctive illustrations of this artist appear regularly in local and national publications.
