Born in Rogers City, Michigan, this outstanding abstractionist painter and mixed-media artist creates images of great richness and devastating personal meaning. She has studied at the University of Michigan, the University of Washington (B.A., 1963), and the University of Utah (M.F.A., 1984). Pardike's work is included in numerous private collections nationwide and locally in the Utah Arts Council, Westminster College, and Utah Museum of Fine Arts Collections. A Salt Lake City-based artist for some years, Pardike is an East Aurora, New York, resident today. Yet it is doubtful that elements drawn from the Utah landscape by this colorfield expressionist will ever cease to be a significant influence upon her work. (b. September 26)
