(San Francisco, California, 1956 - )

Marcus Alan Vincent, born in San Francisco and raised in Buffalo, New York, is a talented classical-realist oil painter of figurative and imaginative religious pictures. Since his youth he knew he wanted to be an artist and kept that mindset throughout his formative years. He attended Brigham Young University and received both his BFA (1981) and MFA (1986) and had a private apprenticeship under Trevor Southey. He later served as registrar for BYU's art collection. In the 1990s, he was exhibit curator for Gallery 303 at the HFAC at BYU. He is now a professional artist with experience in being an educator, exhibitor, curator, gallery director, and consultant.
