This fine watercolorist, oil painter, and arts educator was born in the Wheeler Historic Farm House in the Salt Lake area. She attended the University of Utah from 1952-56. Mastrim joined the Associated Utah Artists and has exhibited award-winning landscape paintings locally. She was the art exhibit supervisor for the Salt Lake County Fair in 1952. In 1958 she was the art exhibit supervisor for the Murray Showcase of Fine Arts. The winner of many awards for her work, Mastrim's paintings are represented in numerous collections both locally and elsewhere, including the Wheeler Historic Farm House. She now resides in the Salt Lake area with her husband, fellow artist Herald Miller.
