Gary Max Collins is a very successful artist who is known better for landscape paintings of much more traditional type than his later abstractions. A Salt Lake City resident, Collins studied art at Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, and has shown his work with the Utah Artists Guild, Meyer Gallery in Park City, the Eccles Community Art Center in Ogden, the Kimball Art Center in Park City, the Salt Lake Art Center, and the Springville Museum of Art.
