Maud R. Hardman of Salt Lake City was an arts educator and a painter/printmaker. As a painter she specialized in the transparent-watercolor medium, was a regional realist, and favored landscape themes. In later years, she lived in Sedona, Arizona, but in her day she was a powerful force in the community with regard to art in the schools.
