Wilson Ong was born November 8, 1958 in Hayward, California. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting and Drawing at Brigham Young University in 1982. He then attended New York City’s Art Students’ League in 1983, where he studied with nationally renowned figurative artists Ted Seth Jacobs and Harvey Dinnerstein. He has sold his work professionally as an artist and illustrator since 1983, and worked as an art educator in Utah 1991-2004. He was represented by Shannon and Associates as an illustrator from 2005-2017.
