Fae Calvin Packard
(Salt Lake City, Utah, 1927 - 2018, Springville, Utah)
Fae Calvin Packard of Springville, Utah, is an oil painter of impressionist landscapes. He started painting in 1956, studied with Glen Turner, from a book by John F. Carlson, and in evening classes with Paul Salisbury in Springville. He would take his painting to Glen Turner for critique, and Packard would then try to improve each work. A right-brain learner, he searched for beauty and truth. He was also president of Central Bank and, later, chair of the board.
